The precision castings include fine castings, precision carbon steel castings, precision stainless steel castings, etc. Below are the introductions to their process designs:

Process Design: Design mold or make drawing according to customer supplied sample, and design casting system with CAE simulation casting software.

Mold Making: Make 3D model according to the sample or drawing, and make aluminum or steel mold with that 3D model.

Wax Injection: Mix the liquid wax and the solid wax to be wax paste, inject the wax paste into metal mold with was injection gun, and take out the wax mold after cooling.

Wax Mold Assembly: Heat the stainless steel welding knife, weld the wax molds on the gate stick according to process design.

Coating Sticking: Immerge the wax mold assemblies into a jar of sodium silicate to be coated.

Silica Sand Pouring: Pour silica sand on coated wax assemblies, and immerge the hardening gutter contained ammonium chloride and magnesium chloride to harden, and then make it dry. Repeat the above process for about 6 times, then go to the next step.

Dewaxing: After the surface coating is hardened, put the wax assemblies into wax removal gutter and remove wax by heating it with steam to get the sand mold shell.

Mold Roasting: Put the mold into the roaster to roast to increase its intensity.

Casting: Fill raw materials into medium frequency furnace to melt, add metal as per formulation. When the temperature of liquid steel is up to about 1,600 degree and the pre-furnace chemical analysis is qualified, pour the molten liquid steel into the mold through the casting ladle to make the mold chamber full of liquid steel. Take one example for the final after-furnace test.

Shell Removal: Remove the sand on the surface of castings by vibration.

Cutting: Cut the casting from the casting stick with oxygen-acetylene flame.

Polishing: Grind the casting head with the grinding machine and polish the surface with polisher.

Heat Treatment: Make normalizing, anneal, quench tempering, induction quenching, carburizing and nitriding treatment to castings according to the requirements of specific material.

Machining: Do CNC metal machining according to the drawing requirements.

Final Inspection: Detect the mechanical performance of the test sample with testing equipment such as tensile tester, shock testing machine, hardness testing machine, etc. Do the non-destructive test to the sample with testing equipment such as X-ray, ultrasonic, magnetic particle inspection instrument, etc. Check the dimension of the sample with gauges like coordinate measuring machine, measuring tools, caliper, etc.

Packaging & Delivery: After rust prevention, pack the qualified products into glued wood box or metal truck to deliver.
